Questions before you ride
Is merino itchy?
For most people, no. The fabric feels soft against the skin and is designed to balance comfort with the durability you need for riding. That said, wool sensitivity varies. A small number of people simply find merino itchy, even when it’s made for activewear.
Is this jersey too warm for summer?
No. At 150 GSM, it sits in a sweet spot for three-season riding. It’s light enough for hot-weather rides while still helping regulate temperature when conditions change.
How does the fit compare with a normal T-shirt?
It feels familiar, but it’s more relaxed on purpose. There’s extra room to move freely on the bike, plus a drop-tail hem for better coverage while you’re riding. Off the bike, it still looks and feels a lot like a comfortable T-shirt.
What size should I buy?
Start with the T-shirt size you normally wear. The jerseys fit true to size. If you’re between sizes, we recommend sizing up. Merino can shrink slightly over time, and because the fit is intentionally relaxed, going up a size still feels natural rather than oversized.
How should I wash it?
Wash it on a normal cycle and avoid hot water. Skip the dryer completely. Just hang it up or lay it over a drying rack or chair and let it air dry. If you dry it outside, keep it out of direct sunlight.
Why not just wear a technical tee?
You absolutely can. A technical tee works fine for a lot of riders. Raw Style is for riders who want more from one shirt.
